Acura TLX rendered with MDX styling

The folks over at Acura Connected decided to graft the refreshed 2017 Acura MDX's grille onto the current TLX sedan, to get a look at what the future might hold. The Diamond Pentagon grille design was first shown on Acura's Precision Concept at the Detroit auto show. Aside from the grille swap, the headlights were massaged to better fit the new front fascia.

Judging by the remarks Acura made around the Precision Concept's design, this seems like a viable future for the refreshed TLX. Much like the MDX, this sedan suffered from the "beak nose" look from the Acura shield.

We don't know what Acura will do with the beloved TLX until it gets restyled, but if it looks anything like this rendering, we'll be happy. Check out Acura Connected and throw in your two cents.
